CNN hír szeptemberben: Gordon downgraded to tropical storm
MIAMI (CNN) -- Spain and Portugal will be the next countries to see the storm named Gordon, which lost its hurricane status early Wednesday, the National Hurricane Center reported.

After passing over the eastern Azores Wednesday morning, Gordon is now a tropical storm with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph, and as of 11 a.m. ET it was moving east at about 33 mph.

The storm was about 345 miles east of the island of Terceira in the Azores, the NHC said, and about 625 miles west of the coast of Portugal.

It"s expected to make a turn toward the east-northeast later Wednesday and bring rain to the coasts of Spain and Portugal.

Meanwhile, Hurricane Helene weakened slightly on Wednesday as it moved over the central Atlantic, the NHC said. (Posted 11:31 a.m.)
